cqtama Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 i just picked my new alternator and i figured i may as well do it while its out. i have a few questions though. i dont want to get rid of the factory wiring just in case i sell the truck and want to return it to stock i read the forum post about it and know i dont have to get rid of it but i was curious if anyone had pics of how they made the connections to the battery. im just trying to figure out the best way to do it before i go and get it done R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. Either way just get some ring terminals and solder them to the wires, you will need probably 6-10 terminals to do the Big 3. You could also crimp the terminals if you have access to a good hydraulic crimper. Or if you dont have either to do it just measure and cut the lengths of wire you need, and have a local shop crimp or solder the terminals on for you. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
