HHR Ed
depends on the league, format, and judge. What kind of comp are you going to? Non explicit lyrics are because they are usually family friendly events and people have kids around. If its bass race you can use any commercially available song, can be Ipod/MP3, store bought CD, tape, 8 track, anything. If its dB drag, at a 1X you can use pretty much anything as well as long as its a CD, but at a multipoint event, it must be the official dB Drag CD Quote Ed Lester ShowtimeSPL Host Showtime Electronics Video MarketingMy old Build Loghttp://www.stevemead...08/#entry511451http://www.youtube.com/showtimespl 5 time dB Drag Finalist Last ride 2007 HHR, current dB 153.5 and bass race 149.4 dB. 153.0 dB on music New Ride, 2008 HHR SS. HHR Ed
The judges will have at least 2 copies of the official disc. If for any chance they dont, most other competitors there should have it. Just ask the judge though, its their duty to have it. A multi point dB Drag will have a good amount of hard core competitors there. My suggestion is to get there early and ask the judges if you can do a practice run for dB Drag to find your frequency. If they say no, then just do the following in your qualifying round. get the CD, and ask the judge before the round if they can tell you what your frequency is. Then play track 7. If the judge tells you what frequency it peaked at and you still have time in the round, play that track number. So if they say 48hz, play track 48. If you run outta time, just play that track number the next round.
