mE
another thing......this is going into a 2002 explorer and they have factory 5x7's, i know alot of people like to run 6.5's or even 5.25's instead; why?? i was just thinking about going with the infinity 5x7 components just to make things easy. i can do the work to put the 6.5's in there, but could somebody explain why it's so bad to use 5x7's as a component system?? i wouldn't ever use coaxials in an install, but what do you think? Godsmack
ovals aren't in the true shape of a sound wave henceforth not as effecent a sound wave for SQ or loudness. Hence the reason u don't see 6x9 shaped subs (to generally speak of) Circles on the other hand create as perfect a sound wave as can be made. More effecency and better SQ.
