I'm getting a truck soon, most likely a yukon or tahoe, and I want to put a pretty much dope ass system in it.

Nothing like steve's truck, but something close to it.

I was thinking 2 18" BTL's.

But, I'm not sure how many batteries I would need, what size amp (or amps) to use, and if I would need an extra alternator.

I wanted to run that with 4 - 6 power horns, flip out head unit, and all new door speakers.

I have the basic stuff pretty much planned out in my head. I just don't know all the fine details.

Can anyone give me some pointers, or even make some other suggestions? And also tell me how much everything would approx. cost?

* Also, some of you might say that 2 BTL's is too much for me to handle, but, I am used to my uncles Yukon GT with twelve 12" JL W6's, and six Alpine amps. So yea, I can handle it =]

Im gonna suggest a line driver since most flip outs have like 1v rca ouputs. you gonna do a wall for them or just a box?

Current System:

Pioneer 6900 HU

Front Stage: (for now)

Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors

Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash

Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs

Bass:

4 Soundstream RW-12's

2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's

single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.

Currently under the knife being bagged

Rebuilding err'thang

Im going to go out on a limb and assume the port will face the back?
