1992Chevy K1500 Posted July 30, 2009 Author Report Posted July 30, 2009 So when I woke up this morning, I looked at the paint on the dash piece, and some moisture got in my "sealed area" las night and screwed up the final coat of paint. I got some sand paper and I'm gonna sand it pretty good and repaint. :censored: But it really sucks I'm having to repaint. I knew I shouldn't have turned off the dehumidifier last night. I can only be mad at myself. My comp setup (Not bad for what it is): HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with: 15.4" widescreen AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor 2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz) Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD 128MB shared video memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit 12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours) What it does: On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

Do you think that will sound ok? (I won't be able to make the boxes exactly the same, but I can put the same airspace in each. I don't have the other two subs yet so I can change the design as necessay. <EDIT> The boxes are all gonna be sealed, if that makes any difference. I wanted to do this because I wanted the base to be both felt and heard. When your subs are poundin on the back of your seats you can feel it more than hear it. So the worst possible thing just happened. A 40-something gust of wind blew a ladder into the drivers door of my truck. The paint is undamaged (Thank Gawd) but there is a small dent (about the size of a nickel). :censored: :censored: As long as the paint isn't damaged, I can fix it. It's worked on three of the four dents I've tried it on (the fourth is beyond my ability to repair).
