96saturnsl
Well i just got my 2 12" Alpine Type R's yesterday and they work fine but im having some problems with other things. every so often the protect light on my amp comes on and shuts the subs off....the wiring and everything is fine as much as i know and i dont know why this might be happening but its getting annoying. if i shut the car off and take the fuse out of the amp and put it back in it works fine for a while then shuts back off. can anyone think of why this is happening and how i might fix it? scratchy
can be a bunch of things. Was all you did connect the subs? If so, you prob got the wrong ohm load, if you messed with the amp, check the ground Quote then im rambo bitch

scratchy
ok, what you did wrong was that you wired the subs to 1 ohm. search on this site for woofer wiring diagrams and youll see a diagram that shows you how to connect your woofers to 4 ohm. If you still struglle, come call me Quote then im rambo bitch
