LordArcane
ok, i been doing alot of reading and stuff on this, i know its done with coils or cap or both, coils for LP, caps for HP, and both for mid. well question is to anyone who knows alot about these. i want to make a 3 way cross over lp i want 0 to 70hz, mid i want 70hz to 3khz, hp i want 3khz and up. how would i do this what coils and caps would i need? all the speakers are 4 ohm, low will be 240rms@ 4ohm, mid 58rms 2 4ohm, high 22rms @ 4ohm. if someone could help me out with some info or web site that will point me to what i need to get, that would be great thanks
thehoe92
I'll be interested to see how its done. maybe PM foreverbumpn he makes custom crossovers or used to at least. and one suggestion I wouldn't do the low from 0-70hz you should really make it around 20-30 up to 70hz. why have the speaker play something you cannot hear? Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
LordArcane
good point, didn't really think about that one lol so ya lp 20-70hz edit: now that i think bout it i should change the high pass to 3khz to 20khz since human hearing is 20hz-20khz
