bigg_will
i know this is a stupid question, but i cant find the answer. ive been looking into a btl for a little bit and i was wondering what the resistance would be if i had 2 dual 1 ohms or 2 dual 2's. what about just one dual 1 or 2? 2002 Chevy Blazer 2 door 1-18" Fi BTL, 1 T2000.1bd, 8 ft box before displacement tuned to 33Hz, Big 3 done in 1/0 Havent been metered yet
BassJunkie
1 dual 1 would be .5 ohms one dual two would be 1 ohm. I think 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not you havent lived until you've hit a screw with a router.
bigg_will
if i were to put 2 dual 1's in a series, would i get 1 ohm? 2002 Chevy Blazer 2 door 1-18" Fi BTL, 1 T2000.1bd, 8 ft box before displacement tuned to 33Hz, Big 3 done in 1/0 Havent been metered yet
j_black10
I got 2 dual 1ohm Qs. I series the subs and paralled them together and mine are reading a .7 ohm. 1.4 ohms for each sub series. AudioControlRockford FosgateXSPower
Derrick824
if i were to put 2 dual 1's in a series, would i get 1 ohm? You need to run the coils on each sub in series then run the two subs parallel for a final resistance of 1ohm.
Derrick824
1 dual 1 would be .5 ohms one dual two would be 1 ohm. I think For a single sub w/ dual 1ohm coils you can run the coils in series for 2ohms or in parallel for 0.5ohms. For a single sub w/ dual 2ohm coils you can run them in series for 4ohms or parallel for 1ohm.
