Nate197
Can someone explain exactly how a phase shift works (0-180 degrees) on an amplifier? I have heard some things about when you invert subs but, I am not sure exactly how it works or what the proper degree setting should be. E a r t h
it reverses polarity ex. cone moves out & in vs cone moves in & out with reference signal applied
Nate197
it reverses polarity ex. cone moves out & in vs cone moves in & out with reference signal applied Which setting would you use for a normal non inverted setup.
E a r t h
zero,... if you wired up all your speakers + and - terminals properly from + and - amp outputs, there should be no problem all the phase does is let you change polarity in stead of reversing the wires on the amps or inside the box manualy like we used to before that nifty knob was bestowed upon us

I can't think any reason to have it at 27, or 42, or 103 or anything in the middle...
