Cdizzle
Circuit city lied to you. You cannot have a 2ohm load on the amp if your subs are wired to make a 4ohm load. It's either/or if you only have one sub and since you have dual 2ohm voice coils, it's either a 4ohm load or a 1ohm load. Dang, that sucks. So does that mean since the sub is hooked up at 4 ohms, it is pulling 4 ohms from the amp? Quote Damn Thiefs

Yeah, how could a 4 ohm circuit pull a 2 ohm load? Quote Power Acoustik fubar 12 sony xploding amp 2 ft^3 box @ 35hz
Cdizzle
Yeah, how could a 4 ohm circuit pull a 2 ohm load? I dont know. The guys at circuit city said that once it was hooked up at 4 ohms, it would pull 2 ohms from the amp only if bridged to the amp... I wonder what that sub sounds like at a lower resistance, because it is pretty loud right now. Quote Damn Thiefs
