+ZER0Hz+
Well, It's been a while since I've been here! I'm having a bad week I'll cut to it. The bass remote was always touchy. I finally took it apart and found that the potentiometer (the bass boost knob) was basically unsoldered from the circuitboard. I only took the remote apart because I now have no sound coming from the subs. Power Light On - 14V across Power/Ground If the Power Light is on, I can assume the turn on lead is good. RCA's are connected. Speaker wires looked connected, Im going to tear apart my car after I go to the gas station and pick up supplies (monster and beef jerky). I just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this amp. If the bass knob is not connected, I should still get sound, correct? I'm just asking before I tear my car apart and find out I just need to resolder the bass knob. 2009 VW Rabbit 2-Door: Pioneer AVH-X1600DVD Kicker CX600.1 (Kicker "Certified" 638wrms@2ohm) NVX VCW124 @2 Ohm, ~1.25 ft^3 Sealed box Stock Doors; (4) 6.5's, (2) 4's, (4) 1" Tweets Owner/Founder of RT Photography Canon Traitor who moved to Fujifilm
Cr@sh
Yes, The bass knob or remote gain control does not need to be plugged in for output of the amp. My old install at cardomain, never finished!
