Question About a 2ohm and a 4ohm Subwoofer

i'm planning on gettin 2 12 inch type r's and just realized that they come in 2 ohm and 4 ohm...im just curious...wats the difference?? i understand its resistance but will either sound n e different from the other?? thanks in advance

What amp are you gonna run, the amp will make your decision.

had a feeling this was gonna come up...the thing is, i was gonna buy the amp at the same time as the subs...i really am not sure wat kind of amp would push these subs to their full potential...

With the Dual 2's you will want an amp that make's its power at 2 ohms or .5 ohms(not recommended for inexperienced), with the Dual 4's you will want an amp that makes its power at 1 ohms or 4 ohms.
