well a mile range means basically half a mile on each side. the range is a mile but thats only half a mile per side...still not bad though

no a mile range means a mile perside. I dont whats wrong with his, but he is having some issues. Read more about it like on 12v. A lot of people say there are getting atleast 3k ft....still compare that to the old 1k ft 791.

well i was impulse buying today and picked up the viper 5900 suppose to have a range of 1 mile with the remote for starting, arming, ect.

if i ever get my 68 deville straight its going in there.

i picked the alarm up, backup battery, tilt sensor, window up/down controller for $380 no tax. forgot to get the extra glass break sensor, motion sensor, and mini interior sirens

hey I actually talked to the company that makes the Viper alarm last week and they were saying that it is the best working alarm that they are producing right now and it does reach up to one mile. The (pretty sure) 6900 is the newest model however they are still troubleshooting some issues with it.

Just thought I'd share that with ya. :)
