Bigdaddy1986
Looks awsome. I got a question in the rear where the top part of your seats would sit did you mass cover and then trim out the hole spots or did you carefully measure and cut out those pieces? is what im referring to Edited August 30, 2009 by Bigdaddy1986

Saltine
i layed it on, when i got near the brackets to mount the seat i trim them close. pressed everything down and trimmed it nicely before mashing it on for good. whole car is like that and yea its a lot about $735 in dynamat extreme to be exact. i still want to put an extra layer on the quarters, hit the rear panels between the roof and back deck, and i think i'll be good

Saltine
Holy shit thats alot of deadener. Whats with the center whole in the rear deck. Blow through port I take it? yep, im going to make a mdf shape a lil bigger than the port to sit on top and it will sit in the hole to so it dont move. im either going to have it look like the 6x9 grills by painting the mdf to match the shell and putting metal grill in the center to match or im going to cover it with speaker grill cloth...we'll find out when my hands heal, i get some more money and get to work
Zade08
Sounds nice man. We are going to do the same thing in my friends olds when he gets the other 15" reconed but a lil different. Just a regualr square port with a nice mdf bevel to bolt down on top like your talking about. Get a round over bit if you have a trim router. It makes the wood look gorgous painted or bare.
