BIGD502
the ohm load sounds to be too low. rewire the subs differently i dont think that could be it because my brother had the subs hooked up in his car prior and my buddy bought em from my bro for 40 bucks the only differance is that i used a switch for his remote so he could turn it off and of course where the signals coming from
marquettefan247
Is the gain to high? That would be my first guess or its not getting enough power Quote 1995 Ford Mustang 3.8l V6 5 Speed Plans: 2 12 inch dc Level 4s DC 2.0k Amp KCA 1/0 Power Amplifier Installation Kit 220 Amp Alt XS Power 12V D925 AGM Battery Stinger Volt Gauge Rockford Fosgate RCAs Box built from birch. TheSundownFire
^^^This. Even if your bro had them set right for his car you still have to adjust the gains based on your source voltage. marquettefan247
Tell him to turn all other settings down and put the gain at half. If it still does it slowly turn the gain down till it doesn't. Thats what I would do.
