hi im kinda new............ i want to build a t line for 2 8' sony subs for home theater.

i don't know how to calulate port tuning but i can mesure cubic feet.i was thinkin like 3cubic feet at like 30 hz.

so can some one help me with a design.

really i dont know there prety beefy

you need to know the fs and sd to make a proper tline. also you wont have a volume. just one continous line

i think the sd of most 8's is 27 in^2

Umm...t-lines dont have volumes. There is no chamber really, its one long continuous port.

You need alot more info than that to do a good design. What about the Qes Qms and Qts. Those can make or break a t-line from my understanding.

This works for till i get the blown amp fixed] Alpine 4ch salvaged from blazer (currently near death)9887 peerless 7s in the doors and CDT tweeters ran active no speakers in the rearKintik HC1400 under the hood.metered once a while ago, dont remember it...was piss poor compared to the blazer, mid 130s i think....looking to replace subs and amp when i have money.

transmission lines do have volume. And there can be a chamber...its called a chambered t-line. People have been building them for years and years.

The line ratio can be anything you want...depends on the specs of the driver.

the 1:1 ratio is just the "general" basic start.
