I was going to make it out of jus some mdf with filler in it too, except ill have larger size disks at the bottom for less filler that ill have to use. did you use a heat gun or a torch? I use a heat gun. It takes about 10 minutes (for a 4") to get it hot enough, then you need to leave the weight on it for another 10-15 minutes to cool down or else it will pull back a little when you take it off.
