rawlins87
Would the audiocontrol epic 160- or epicenter be considered a line driver? Would it increase the rca voltage? My headunit has 2v preouts so their very weak and I'm looking for a good line driver. I know audiocontrol has the "overdrive" which is a line driver, but i like the features of the epicenter and did not know if it also increased rca voltage. Also it says that the epicenter plus has a fixed subsonic filter at 33hz (12db slope) are there any epicenter without a subsonic filter?
Guest DC Power Kyle
Audiocontrol Matrix is nice. The epicenter increases the voltage by increasing the amount of bass.
rawlins87
does the epicenter increase all frequencys or just certain one (like a 45hz bass boost?) also my radio only has 1 rca output for the subwoofer. Would it be better to get a 1-into-2 rca cable then the line driver---then connect it to the amp
TheSundownFire
Yes you want the line driver as close to the head as possible also. 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Alpine CDA-9886 Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D Sundown Audio SAX-50.4 Rainbow SAC 265.25 Components Image Dynamics iD12 Optima Yellow Top SQFire FTW.
