Yes that much could blow the subs, but i have always taken great care that filters are set right, no clipping, and i will have a completely different box. The subs will take the power, I made sure that thermaly they could handle it under good watch. I had asked Nick, what these subs could handle thermally? He was happy to say plenty. lol he said "We hooked up 4 memphis 4kw's per driver and they did fine!"..........My natural mindset kicked in,.... ima do it.! And i cant believe your hitting mid 50's with 2 15's off 2800wrms, thats daym good.Who cut your truck up and what kind of stripping did you use? I really wouldnt mind doing a blowthru in mine so i can have some space up front, but our beds arent the biggest whatsoever. Here is a pic of the box pushed a foot and a half into the cab, you can see how it slides right between the wells.
