I've been going back and forth with myself on whether or not i'm gonna ditch my active setup and go passive but after a long tuning session last night I seem to have it pretty close to dialed in. Not too sure i'm sold yet on this "front stage only" setup for my mids and highs so I still might go passive so I can run my 3 way 6x9's in the back with the 2 channels that would become available on my amp by doing so. Doing this will at least let me hear the difference between the two setups and I can then decide which I want to settle on.

In the meantime I've been tossing around ideas on how to improve my soundstage and imaging up front and have pretty much ruled out kick pods because on the drivers side my e-brake is in the way. So now i'm considering glassing my door panels and running a 3 way component set in there with the midbass in the factory location, mid and tweet glassed into the door and aimed at the opposite passenger. What I'd like to do is post a picture of my door panel and for you guys to give me ideas on how to pull it off, as far as where to glass and how to lay it out. I just want to see if what I have in mind is anything like what the pro's (you guys) suggest.

Just keep this in mind, my main goal is ideal soundstage and imaging, but maintaining a stealth install is just as important so whatever I end up doing will likely be covered up with a removeable grill covered in speaker grill cloth.
