8v fury Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 My computer crashed and I had to reload windows xp. Now, I don't have any sound. It is showing that there is no onboard sound device. What can I do? Quote Pushing it to the limits. Want more power.
U.P. Bumpn Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Go to device manager and remove all drivers associated with the speakers and restart computer Quote
8v fury Posted September 14, 2009 Author Report Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) I checked and there are no devices associated with speakers. I have restarted it a couple times and no luck. Edited September 14, 2009 by 8v fury Quote Pushing it to the limits. Want more power.
Guest Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 go on your computer manufacturer's site and go into the support section. they should have a drivers subsection and try to find your sound card in there. download drivers, install, restart computer. that might fix it. otherwise i dont know.
