SmokeyDog Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 4 cvr 12'' kickers box going to be 38 wide 34 deep 14 high 8.85cf going to be .27 displacement for subs .i cant find my numbers but its around .55 for all displacement ive done alot of planing. got lots of drawing(of braceing, braceing cornors, boxes, side veiws, top, back) anyways i am lost on the port. i want to port it thought the rear deck in the middle, seal the rest of the deck off? going to build a 6x9 boxes for the rear deck that will cover the old 6x9 holes. so i figure might as well seal that off too, i have to cut some stuff out of the rear deck. like the middle seatbelt. but i want an even surfuse for the trunk lid. port that i came up with is 8x6 10 deep port area is 48sqinches is the port area to small. that the only way i have found that will get 33 hz i plan on putting the port 3inchs from the front of the box(front being the side faceing the back seats) and drop it in between the layers of mdf on top. if i extend the port out of the box i can get the port longer dont know if that will work. will it? going to go over my numbers one more time. i want everything looked over 10 20 times just to make sure you know. dose anybody see anything i missed if your intrested in helping me i am willing to take the help ~2006 chrysler Sebring~ ~2 runs of 1/0 front to back~ ~1/0 wire for "big 3"~ ------------------------------------------------------- 4 spl-hx 12'' dual 2 2 dtr 1.3400 3 c&d terminologies 1000s 100 aH Each piccso 6.5 comps pinoeer avh 4900dvd pioneer xm box blue gauges custom dave the box guys box ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ new stuff on the way Team Soundstream

You really want atleast 12 sq in per cube. say you find a way to end up with 8 cubes after port, youll need atleast 96 sq in. woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...
