devsmazduh Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 i got 2 12'' hifonics atlas d4 subs. im building a box for them in the trunk of a 07 malibu. with the subs facing forward like with the seats down. im gonna seal it form the trunk. the available dimensions are 31''x 15'' then i just need to figure out the length of the box. these subs call for 1.5 cubes each ported. i just need help with the port. im thinking it should be tuned to like 34hz. with like 50sq. inches of port. correct? if someone could help me out that would be awesome! thanks ill cut out yo eyelids and give ya nothin but sleeping pills...
smokeumtires Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Make the depth of the box 21 inches port should be 13.5hx4w and 18.5 Long 34.5hz of tuning total 3.88ft^3 = 1.94 cubes per sub with 54 in^2 of port
