1992Chevy K1500 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 I'm sure your probably wondering. I was gonna go with an Audioque 1200 amp and a DC LVL4 15". But I don't have the money(parents won't let me). So, I've decided to go with either a DC LVL3 12" or a LVL 4 12". I'm unsure of which, but whichever one I go with, it will be D2 coils. So, can anyone recommend an amp for me? I need something cheap and reliable. It doesn't really matter too much if it has a tendency to heat up, because I have 10 or so 12 volt computer fans lying aroound that can be used to keep it cool. Thanks in advance. My comp setup (Not bad for what it is): HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with: 15.4" widescreen AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor 2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz) Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD 128MB shared video memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit 12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours) What it does: On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

Thanks in advance. i have 2 12" lvl4s on a sundown SAE-1200D and that shit pounds. If i were you, id keep saving and then go with your level 4 15". i had one on a memphis 1000watt amp and it laid out a ton of bass. regardless, get a lvl4 (with lvl5 coils, forsure) and you'll be more happy. from there, look into any amp that puts out 1000-1400 watts. 8 DC Level 4 M2 15s2 DC Audio 5ks26^2 clamshell tuned to 30hz9 Kinetik 1400sMechman externally reg'd 340 S seriesin a 99 Jeep Cherokee Click to see J00bles' Youtube Channel

I would, but my parents keep borrowing money (and I don't have a choice in the matter). So until I move out, I'm screwed. I can't spare much, but I may still get the Audioque. Do you have any recommendations for the amp?
