Is it a long run of wire? how close to anything hot is the fuse block?. 4 gauage should be ok but I would upgrade it when you can. The only other thing I can think of is it loose at the fuse connections? loose wire make for a bad conecction and will create heat. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
