everfr3shh Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 okay so i just replaced my cousins back speakers, the left side works perfectly, but the right side isnt getting any power to it or something, i did the exact same setup to each speaker but it just wont power on, idont know what to do. any thing else i can do? the car is a 96 geo prism, the speakers are infinity but i dont remember the number, ive had them for about 9 months now

finkster Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Plug back in the old speaker and see if it works. Or another speaker for that matter. If another speaker works, u know one of the infinitys is bad. If none of them work, there is either a break in one of the wires somewhere on that side, a bad connection somewhere, or the factory amp took a shit somewhere. Good luck mane. everfr3shh Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Posted September 25, 2009 i think its gotta be the actual wiring itself, i tested both speakers on the working side and they both play fine, when i see my cousin next il check the polarity of them, but right now its just looking like bad wires

everfr3shh Posted September 26, 2009 Author Report Posted September 26, 2009 well thank god its not my car haha, im not down for anymore problems with my boat. first the break lines go, then the fuel line. going to cost roughly 1,350 to fix, the kbb value of it is only 375 haha. so in 2 weeks im getting my new baby and first thing i do it change the alt and build me a wall
