tristan560
Ive got a set of 55w HID's on the way. Right now when i play my system full tilt at idle my voltage drops low...like low 11's. Will i have issues with the HIDs? Just curious... Guest
why is your voltage that low? lower the volume bro. but it shouldnt affect anything. HID's stay pretty constant from what i hear
bennett15
you might need a relay harness anyways stock harness might not support the 50w ballast depending on vehicle. but if your voltage is dropping to low 11's then they too will have light dimming to them even with a relay harness Quote 98 Dodge Durango 12 000K 50/55W Headlights 12 000K 35W Fog lights HU Panasonic CQ-VX100 7" Reciever (1) Fi SSD 18" Fully Loaded (1) Ported box 33hz (1) Soundstream TRX1500D (1) Soundstream TRX2.440 (1) RE 6.5" Component Set (1) Rear battery Big 3 in 0/1 gauge 2 runs of 1/0 Gauge wire 250A Alt soon.. brewer_brewer
you should upgrade your electrical man. but the hid's won't dim like your halogen do. they might still dim a little though if you are dropping into the 11's. they will use less power and be brighter though.
