Ported or not?

Your correct siucsaluki11, Ported enclosure's tuned properly will take the 180* wave from the rear of the speaker and send it out of the port at 0* with the front wave, like I said when designed correctly. Sealed is really good for SQ setups, but ported can be good as well, especially if you like some spl once in a while. Like Neel stated just read the link he posted :P

Isnt ABC supposed to be the "ideal" enclosure for SQ, but is a bitch and a half to build/design. Heard of them, understand the idea behind them, but no idea how to design one.

This works for till i get the blown amp fixed] Alpine 4ch salvaged from blazer (currently near death)9887 peerless 7s in the doors and CDT tweeters ran active no speakers in the rearKintik HC1400 under the hood.metered once a while ago, dont remember it...was piss poor compared to the blazer, mid 130s i think....looking to replace subs and amp when i have money.
