Boon Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 250 is almost always HEAPS for 0/1ga. Any more than that and the amperage required to pop it will cause serious voltage drop over the wire anyway. A 250A takes what, a few minutes to pop when actually flowing that? I think the specification for fuses is like 15 seconds at 150% and 5 seconds at 200%? It's been a while since I read it but yeah... Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
Demo402 Posted October 9, 2009 Author Report Posted October 9, 2009 For my next system im planning on getting a AQ3500D and it says in specs "External Fuse Rating 300 Amp in-line, 600 for pair" so basically i need a 300a fuse correct?
