Those were some nice amps back then. If its in great condition and you got a deal, jump on it, if not, alot of amps these days are alot of bang for the buck, especially audioque!! Its a good amp, but, a friend of mines sold his 1570 for $150 like 3 years ago. For that 250, you could get a BRAND NEW AQ1200D for like $229, seeing that that amp is like 4-6 years old and i think it only put out like 450 watts times 2 bridged versus 1200 pure class d watts!! So, it all depends on what youre pushing! jake@tbay Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 Pushing 1 clarion 15" PXW-1552 750 watts rms, 1500 watts peak subwoofer Alpine V12 MRV-1507 is 2 Ohm stable; RMS Power at 2 Ohms 450 W x 2 or RMS Power at 4 Ohms 225 W x 2 and my sub is bridged at 2 ohms Connections & Adjustments The MVR-1507’s chassis is laid out with power connections on one end and input/output connections and configuration switches at the other. Features include an internal crossover and subsonic filter, line level outputs, fan-forced cooling, and a low frequency EQ with full parametric operation. All of the units variable controls are located on top of the heat sink with a protective cover. Connections to the amp include RCA inputs, RCA line level outputs, and 1/2-inch spade receptacles for all power and speaker connections. The amp has an extra B+ connection, which can be used to bypass the internal fuse and line choke. Switched adjustments include input mode, phase invert, crossover enable, and parametric EQ enable. Variable adjustments include input sensitivity, high pass cutoff frequency (30 Hz to 200 Hz), low pass cutoff frequency (30 Hz to 200Hz), and the parametric EQ controls, which include center frequency (30 Hz to 200 Hz), Q factor (1 to 10) and boost/cut (+/-12 dB), and a fixed subsonic filter.
