basshead4life
I picked up 2 abstract acoustic speaker/sub boxes off the side of the road. theres 2 8's and a tweeter in each one. now the tweeters dont work but that doesnt bother me. but theres not much bass and theres words coming from the top subs. i checked the subs and there all good but i was thinking the crossover might be bad. i dont that much about crossovers except that they make bass go threw the subs and words come out the tweeters all the other sub boxes ive found (im too much of a cheap bastard to go buy a HT setup) had no problems with the crossovers. so i was wondering if it would hurt the spaekers to run them with no crossover? Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol
