Hey guys. Doin my first build on a 2002 Mercury Cougar C2. Just installed a Pioneer Premier DEH-P580MP Headunit(50x4 peak.) I had my mind set on some pioneer champion series 1000watt peak 350rms 10's but most people on here said they werent good. Im currently a junior in high school and im on a strict budget. I dont want to spend more than 150 on the subs. Ive pulled some ads from craigslist. Any good ones?....I know its alot and believe me, your time is greatly appriciated. Im also open to suggestions and will need advice on amps once a decision is reached on subs. Thanks again

You dont want to buy them with a prefab box i would just buy the subs and build your own box so you can tune it to how you want and get the most out of the sub

Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1

- American Bass 500.1

- 60 ft of 3/0

-480 Ah of battery

- (2) stock alternators (70 +90)

- Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts

car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

save some money and get good subs, and build box youself, you'll get some experience out of it

dont have the tools, resourses or skills to build a box..I would love to but have no way to.
