wildcard4040
My girl wants to change her dash lights from red to blue. The car is Pontiac G6. The lights are in the dash, gear shifter, and doors. My question is, how hard would it be to do this. I haven't ever taken a dash off or anything of that sort. Closest thing really is putting in an aftermarket radio lol. Thank you in advance for any and all advice! Street
Its not really that hard, taking apart the dash, doors, and shifter is the easy part. Soldering in the new lights might be a challenge if you dont use a soldering iron often. I redid my interior lights in both my cars, took an hour at the most. white4d96
If its anything like my Grand Prix the lights are actually white but there's some sort of pattern or something cast into the gauge faces/switches/etc. to make them red (mine are white but light up red). IDK how you would take care of that if that's the case. If it is just the lights then see above. Quote Too many projects, too little time...
