AlpineGuy87
Well, as some already know, I've reversed my subs FINALLY, so now they shoot to the trunk. I have also mounted my amp to the back of the box so when the seats are down you can see it, and it also lights up so it looks pretty cool. Here are some pictures.. I've also had some spare carpet left from the box build and so i used that to cover up some wires. Quote 06 SCION tC

AlpineGuy87
So which way sounds louder to you? Aimed to the trunk. I knew they would sound a lot better, I just didnt have the chance to turn them around, i also needed help taking the box out cuz its not as light as a box with sony xplode in it But when i got the new amp and found that it lights up and look cool i was definately encouraged to turn that box around and mount that amp. lol.. So, i'm pretty pleased with mounting that amp on the back and reversing the subs. Quote 06 SCION tC
Eddy722
Well what kind of power was the sony putting out?
AlpineGuy87
well its a 1200w Sony Xplode which i was running off an 8gauge wiring kit and like 20gauge speaker wires... The subs were wired @ 4ohm. I think each sub was getting 250-400 watts each IF THAT... lol NOW... I have them wired at 1ohm and 1500w amp running off RF 2gauge wiring and 12gauge speaker wires... I think each sub is getting what it should be getting! =D Sounds so much better! Quote 06 SCION tC
Eddy722
So you don't know how it sounds with the hifonics amp powering the subs facing to the front?
