Battery Question

Recommended Posts

I have just a cheapo Everstart Wal-Mart battery (came with car) and am planning on running over 1000rms so I am upgrading electrical a little bit at a time. So far it is stock alternator with Big 3 and all stock engine ground wires done in 4 gauge pure copper wire and thats it.

My question is would the Optima Red Top battery be better to use it in the back for the system or put it up front and put the everstart in back if its even worth it or just run the Red Top up front and no rear battery?

I am pretty sure that the Yellow Top is better for audio equipment but I also think the Red Top is superior to the stock battery so I am going to upgrade. I would just like opinions on the Red Top and stuff like that.

I cant go wrong for $50 bux for the Optima from a buddy who is parting out his Stealth TT and doesnt want the battery anymore.
