imfrom210texas Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 I bought these at Radioshack. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...oductId=2103339 They are VERY loud (It says 110 db's) I have 2 in my front grill, 2 in my lower front bumper facing down-forward, and 1 facing down in each rear-corner of my 94 G Marquis. I have three wired in parallel, on each channel of a PA Fire and Ice. They are very loud, but the voice is louder than the rest, meaning they are not the most musical speaker. I've noticed that "ballers" use Marine speakers, but I'm not a baller. I frequently run my car through the wash (I work at The Wash Tub here in SA), and have had no problems as they are "weatherproof". I wouldn't sit there with a waterhose pointed directly into them, but am not worried about rain or damage due to acts of god. For the price, IMO, good product, if you use correctly.
