tdc3187 Posted February 18, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Ports in Stopped by the toy store bought the 4AWG power and ground, but they didnt give me Rockford wires so I am going to sell them to my boy and go back for Rockford. Finished up the deck install (too dark for Iphone camera to get a pic) got a little bit of adjusting to get the deck at the right depth. I can see myself glassing that kit and the faceplate together. I hate the gaps. Unfortunatly the store didn't have the fuse holder or the distribution block so I am stuck ordering it online. Remote wire soldered and the rca's got a layer of heat shrink. Also got the box's top on, time to take everything apart and glue it. maybe tomorrow....Guess i better make sure it fits in the trunk too. Got that fuse holder and distribution block installed. Got some wires cleaned up It is getting close, hopefully a couple of days and i'll have some bump. I got the fabric at joanne fabrics, let me say: I even felt weird telling my wife that I wanted to go to the fabric store. I had an 02 and liked it until about 100K, then everything started going bad. Got over 175K on my truck and worst thing it had was a bad starter and a chipped tooth on the flywheel. I rushed it a little bit at the last minute to get some bump, but I have to take it back out to finish up the box and amp rack, so I will make sure everything is perfect. More pictures tomorrow.
