pimpedout97x Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 anyone run these? im building a wall in the jeep and i was going to run 10 10s off my sundown 3000d, but thats pushing it for space (surface area to actually mount the subs).... so i thought about 8s...well any decent 8 is like 50+ dollars so for that i might as well stick with the 10 10s. then i came across these http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...products_id=33 what would like 32 of these sound in a clam/diamond? should i run these sealed or ported? my goal is a system that gets LOW, and gets loud while playing that low. i want to move a TON of air. i know this can be done with less subs/less money but i think that many 6.5s would be kinda cool. theres a scion and a tahoe that did 32 of these too (not walled) they have an Fs of 28hz so that should be good as well. this is just an idea at this point...ive already started the wall though (not the front panel yet as i dont know if its gonna be a normal wall or a diamond/clamshell) discuss.
uluahunta808 Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 i would say no to ED they seem to have alot of problems and shitty buisness practices and craftmans ship. look up EDUH
pimpedout97x Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 I've heard otherwise, all I read it great reviews on most of their products. I know about the customer service though.
uluahunta808 Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 there you go Perfect example above. ed used some weird ass glue on his sub and they cracked. Im sure the 6.5" will use the exact same things. try DD 1508 or the RE 8's if you want different.
