hey guys. i have an open space under my center console where i want to make a box for a midbass driver. i was thinking one 8" or two 6.5"s. trying to find what speakers will work well. i have about .4cuft. no more that $300. i have a couple ideas but im open for advice.

so far i like this one. i know its a sub but i thought it would be ok since it goes up to 500hz. tell me what you guys think.

you have to go to focals website to see a pic of it. and its a flash site so i cant post a direct link.

or these for 6.5"s

no idea on an amp yet. dont want too spend much on one and im not sure what sounds good at a low price.

any opinions guys?

Good man!

What ohm load you looking for?

The two below are low in price and come in 4 or 8 ohm coils.

haha you know it.

dont care about ohm load since i dont have the amp... probably want 4ohms though.

thanks for the links but Im not looking at saving that much money... i just cant trust a $20 speaker.

ya i like those too. but i had CDT comps and they didnt have a lot of midbass so im a little iffy. but i hear the higher lines are a lot better with mids.

what do you think on an amp? probably a 2 channel for those... havnt looked for an a/b amp in years lol.
