AI James Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 imo they are about the same to build if you have a design for both its like paint by numbers. a friend had a drop top eclipse like that with a 12" magnum in it we were only really able to get 1.8 out of it and slide the box in and out. we placed the sub and vent firing forward into the droptop mounted amp on top of box so we could have that side space as well. i wont ship a box its to much of a pain for me so if you want one built i'd go with nightshade but if you give me precise measurements i can do you up a box. hell had my toddler not snapped my thumbdrive that had about 1000 box designs on it i probably had a few 99 eclipse convertible designs on it.
