ok i just got a download of it, and i want to start slowing my own music. I am not very computer smart lol, so how do you slow it down? I have tryed going to the effects part i beleive and changing pitch but all the things that u can do under those options are not bold they are all light grey color letters. Did i download a bad one? could someone point me in the right direction?

if theyre greyed out. press the Stop button (the brown square) then use change speed to slow it down.

i have slowed a few songs i change the pitch and then slowed it down a bit to get to a desired frequency

the light gray letters wont be clickable until you have the whole song or an area of it highlighed and you have to hit the yellow stop button

ok thanks i guess i figured it out. you have to stop the playing, highlight it then click effects. Thanks for the help guys!!!

thats how its done sir took me a while to figure it out when i first got it.

ok so in the manual thing it says the loop button but i dont have that. does that kinda do a chopping sound ? if any body can explain more options than to slow please share. Thanks

just load a song into audacity and then select the whole track by crtl+a or using ur mouse and dragging it from the end to the beginning then near the top it will say "effect" click that and select change speed and select how much u want it to be slowed.
