Any Instrumentalists on here?

Recommended Posts

I played the tenor saxophone and trumpet back in middle school. The high school I went to didn't have a band :(

I play the saxophone in concert band and marching band. The trumpet in jazz band.

My brother is using the trumpet now for band now. The sax was a school rental.

But I'm trying to get a rent to own one. I got the itch again. :P

I was just thinking of making a topic similar to this earlier today. I've wanted to play guitar for years. I finally went out this past summer with my birthday money and bought a cheaper First Act electric guitar. Trying to teach myself but it's going veeeery slowly. David Gilmour's Comfortably Numb guitar solo is my favorite.

Neil Peart being my inspiration

Sorry. I had to. ;)

THIS is not the path you want to follow. I've been playing guitar for about six-seven years now and im self taught.

While i can play music by ear... i cant read sheet music for shit and couldnt for the life of me play any chords if i needed to.

All because i wanted to teach my self :(
