BradlyLovesSpl
Im confused, why would they put 3,000 watts if the amps peek is 1,500? help? EDIT: I also own a 2000.1 from Powerbass, and it tends to power my 2 pioneer premier csp's alright. Marlo Stanfield
The 2000w/3000w ratings on those amps are just a cheap marketing ploy... But those are very good amps and will do their rated power (1000w/1500w). Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... There 3000 peek and 1200 rms I think. Im on a low budget looking for subs that will knock and move air at low hrz. Trying to spend under 1,000 on subs and amps itself. Marlo Stanfield
2 15" AA Havocs and an AQ 2200D... Then an enclosure like 8ft3 @ 32hz w/ 100-110in^2 of port would go perfect with the subs/amp setup. Should absolutely kill the lows, get pretty loud and sound damn good as long as everything is built/setup properly. Also I don't know pricing on the Cactus alts but I saw that they're made by Ohio Gen, which means they will be very high quality... Although it would prolli be cheaper just to go straight through to Ohio Gen themselves. I've been running their alts for multiple years now and have never had a single issue. Yea ive done alot of research on this whole thing. Im a wood master, done alot of curve cut ports and custom enclosure's. So I think im okay in the box area. But, what do you think about 4 AA Havocs. I'm lookin to kill kids around here with there 4 12's or 2 15's. My last build was 6 12 inch power bass 2xl's 1.2cubes per sub tuned to 30hrz. On 2 PowerBass 2000.1's very low powered. It was stolen when i went on vacation last year. They took the whole box, that bitch was a good 300 lbs+[never thought im my life anyone would take that bitch out again.] Only one amp? Left my 7 inch pioneer flipout, took my Kinetik 600. They had to have atleast 4 guys. Sad . Was about 1/4th into the build, plastic was still removed from Dynamatting.
