how is this idea for my setup

i have a honda accord coupe and i took out the backseat to put a box there. i built a little platform to hold the box.

this is going to be for 2 15 inch subs. i was thinking i should fire the sub forward in a upward slant. then port the bottom of the box so the port will fire toward the floor of my car. there is about 6 inches of space between the platform and the floor of the car.

with the port downfiring i was thinking it will resonate off the floor therefore get louder.

what do you guys think?

IDK, try it. BY porting into a fixed area you may change the tuning of the port.

well i got the idea from my home theater sub. i have a 12 inch klipsch sub and the port is on the bottom so i was thinkig how that would be.
