yeah that was my concern at first when i installed my amps at first. i burped a 40hz test tone a few times and played a music with alot of bass for about a minute and the amp didn't get hot. it got warm but not hot. it should be fine though.

yeah i can't wait til i get it metered too. i hit 145.5 with the previous box with the same setup. it was subs forward and ports up. this new box is much much louder. hopefully the tl mic thinks the same thing. lol.

my amps are very good to me. don't give me no problems. here are the pics to my amp install.

before i put the subs in, i bolted the box down good. the platform is bolted down to the car and the box is bolted down to the platform. hopefully it holds up in case of an accident. hopefully i never have to find out.

yeah this is chad. and yes its much louder with this box than my previous box. hopefully i will put up some better numbers on the 27th of this month.

anyone oknow where i can get a good line driver i just installed the audiocontrol matrix. i am also in the process of sealing the trunk off. hopefully i can hit better numbers. btw i forgot to mention that i used a 50hz test tone to hit 145.1. ima run a sweep next time. that was my first comp so i didn't know what to do really.

thanks. ima try that this weekend. i have to seal the entrance of the trunk completely. the back of the box is where the entrance of the trunk is. should i seal gap between the side of the box to the side of my car as well? btw i hit 142.1 playing "da blow" by lil jon. thought i add that in there. lol.

subs: 2 btl fully modded dual 2 ohms amps: 2 orion 2500d box: 6.2net tuned to 36hz 260a HO Alt by iraggi alternators. 2 yellow tops. one under the hood and one in the trunk. btw i am in the super street 1-2 no wall class so i know its hard to win with a daily driver but i just want better numbers.

yesterday i hit 145.1 at the dash. i am not too happy with that score. at the moment my subs are firing forward and the port up in a honda accord coupe. i took out the backseat to accomodate my box. i am thinking of firing the subs up and the port forward. do you guys think i can gain some spl that way? thanks in advance. chad.
