Ive heard thats the best way... 4 12s will definitly go hard in there. Not sure about earthquake. But go for it. On the box make sure you brace that thing as much as you can. Yes fire the port out of the rear. I think they will hit hard. Not to yank my own chain but RE Audio SX12s sound nice in mines. Very loud and tight bass.
