ok thinking im gonna start building my box

first off i never been good with wood working or ne thing in that area but u only get better by trying an trying again if it dont go right the first time an yes i have read up on alot of builds an what not already so i think im confident enough to do my first one myself now will one sheet of 3/4 mdf be enough for 2 15's an ill ask more questions as i go along

Well, when I built the box for my single 18, I did not have enough wood in 1 sheet (4' x 8'), I had to buy 2 sheets. So for 2 15s, the box will probably be a little bit bigger than mine, so you will more than likely only needing 2 sheets of wood, and btw yes use 3/4"

I bought mine from Lowes because it's a lot closer to my house than Home Depot, at lowes for me it was like $26.80 after tax for each sheet, ended up spending roughly $80 for all the wood/glue/screws/silicone, etc. But IIRC Home Depot was like a dollar cheaper for each sheet, which wasn't a big deal to me. And I have never heard of Menards, so idk

Yeah you can to be safe to make sure everything will fit properly, if I do a big build with multiple batteries would do that. The first thing I did was take my measurements outside, and re-measure the cargo space in my explorer to double check to make sure I would have enough room, after I did, I just took the few rulers I had out, and started measuring the wood on where I would cut it, take your time on that part, it is very important, I personally used 3 different rules, 2 different 90 degree angle ones, and 1 regular regular to make sure all of my measurements were 100% right before I cut it, but before you start putting anything together, get ALL of the wood cut. When you go to start put the box together, be sure somebody is there helping you, it is very hard to do it all by yourself, a lot easier to have somebody help, definitely when you connect the first 2 pieces of wood.

Yup, it's about $25 a sheet. Have fun with the build bro! Do some research, with 2 sheets, you've got enough to double baffle some, if not most of the box. You can't go wrong with double baffling the box.

well ik my width is 47" but in between the rear wells its 36" or 37" cant remember but like idk i dont like the sound of my box looking like a T shape
