nice. what kind of finish are you looking at. with how good the wood looks, i'd almost do some kind of stained finish. but thats me bro. really clean, i like it alot!!

The box will be wrapped in vinyl and the birch is not high enough grade to be stained (IMHO).

I AGREE! do a stained finish! that wood looks nice. I bet it smelled good as hell when u were cutting it

vinal would be good too. and ur right, after i looked closer at box, there isn't as i would say "fine" enough grain to get a good stain and get a good pattern from the wood.

Indeed, I was highly considering staining it because I can get 3/4" Grade A birch from a buddy of mine for $80-90 a sheet. I went with Grade B birch because I am going to have the box and door panels wrapped in vinyl when I get them done. I still might run it bare for a while :spiteful: (untill the doors are done)

There will be an amp/battery rack behing the seat and between the box. The SAX-100.4 and SAX-50.4 will have there own amp rack on each side of the box (not mounted to the box though).

They are 6" aero ports and there is OVER 6" to the back of th box, so no worries ;)

Good deal, from the pics they looked alot closer. The box looks great. I can hardly wait to see it covered and vids.
