freestylin Posted May 12, 2007 Report Share Posted May 12, 2007 Hello everyone Just joined recently and I'm loving it here. I'm new to this fascinating world of car audio. Currently I'm putting my first system together. Tomorrow I'm buying two dual 4 ohm voice coil 12" L7 06 model and they are going into a 96 Toyota Camry. The reason I'm posting this is because I wanted some help regarding the box which I will be building myself along with the help of a friend. I gotten a lot of ideas with what I can do from all your guy's past and current build. Well I have measure my trunk and I got Height = 16.5 in Width = 45 – 46 in Length = 36 – 37 in( I guess about 16.25 cu ft) to work with. So from what I picked up I thought I got to make up a box to fit within in this space and kicker recommends 3.25 cu ft per subwoofer so about 7 cu ft. I know there is a lot calculation and I have been looking at some different formulas but I’m bit confused so can someone please guide me in the right direction.
