Affordable 6" Lift on S10 Blazer?

Recommended Posts

Lol while the 6.0 and the sas sounds like fun...this isn't an all out trail vehicle....I want to lift it to give it more of a ballsy look with the occasional recreation....I don't beat on it like some of you guys...just have the occasional fun in the mud and on the trials in the woods.

not sure about the SAS, but the 6.0 would give you a huge improvement in fuel economy as long as you can keep your foot out of it. My buddy has an LS1 and 4L60E in his S10 and he's getting damn near 30 mpg, Im getting a whopping 17 in my blazer with a 4.3L, and needless to day, he'll rape my truck in the go-fast dept.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

im running the 5" BDS suspension and 2" BDS BL on my 01 blazer and it looks awsome. Its a great kit. If you want a 6" kit i believe the only option is the Superlift. And being honest, 35s look rediculous on blazers. They are just to big of a tire for our trucks. Im running 33s on mine. Had to do some trimming but they look great

the kit was around $2000 and the BL was only $250. I had to pay a shop to install it though bc i didnt have the tools to do the install myself. It sucks when you can do something yourself and gotta fork out more money lol
